Our 5th Annual Christmas/Chanukah Social

provided an opportunity to enjoy complimentary
kosher wine, kosher mincepies & kosher doughnuts!
Super Raffle, interfaith socialising and more!!

Alongside:
  1. The multi faith lighting of the Chanukah candles
  2. The multi faith lighting of the Christmas Advent Candles
  3. Another fabulous slide illustrated musical presentation of Jewish & Christian related light classical favourites by Joan & Bernard Tiley
  4. Plus CCJ's 15 minute video "Side by Side in Israel" demonstrating three situations where Jewish and Arab families live peacefully together
  5. Great prizes in our Super Raffle
  6. Multi faith knowledge test in our Prize Quiz
  7. Mouth watering complimentary Kosher Doughnuts & Mince Pies
  8. Complimentary glass of Kosher wine from the Holy Land [Soft drinks were also available]

Ronit Ben Dor, PR Director of the Israeli Embassy in London, who answered questions on Israel... "not just from those who are friends but those unconvinced about Israel and where they are going."
and Canon Richard Bartlett, Holy Trinity Church, Northwood, and Rabbi Alan Plancey, Northwood United Synagogue, who spoke about the importance of Jerusalem to Christians and Jews.
