Just looking. I became a Catholic in 2000 and was married to a Dutch Jew in the Netherlands. I feel very strongly connected to the Jewish tradition, partly through my in-law family, partly through my paternal family who lived and worked in Palestine before Israel was given to the Jews after the war. My anti-semitic upbringing made life difficult. However, I would like to forge links between the Catholic and Jewish faith as this is part of the heritage of my children.

I went to a meeting of JACS today in Westcliff and we had a talk and slides regarding the visits to Kolin. It was a very interesting hour and I felt very moved by the whole experience. Just wanted to write and tell you of my interest.

I attend Hillingdon branch events on occasions I can manage, not yet full member bar in spirit, but will be a.s.a.p. Just to say thank you all so very much for organising, and hosting, so many wonderfully thought provoking, spiritually kindling, events. I always leave uplifted and enlightened!
